Easy Model Finnish AF Hurricane

Has anyone got the Easy Model Finnish AF Hurricane? I have seen European sellers on Ebay selling these Hurricanes with Swastika rather than the blue squares you see on US retailer websites.

I though I was going to have to get one from over seas until I heard that all I have to do is “apply water and wash the square off to show the markings” is this true?

Re: Easy Model Finnish AF Hurricane

I never heard of that...

I got mine from the UK and paid only £5.50 delivered (shock shock)

He....heck, if I'd have known that I could have got one here. When you get it, cover the canopy and hit it with a little Dull Cote.

Me likey!

Leigh-Mallory and his big wings! Might as well stay on the ground for all the use they are!

Re: Easy Model Finnish AF Hurricane

Finland only received 12 Mark I Hurricanes and these would have been armed with machine guns only, the 20mm cannons only being fitting in Mark II and later versions. But one Soviet Mark IIC Hurricane was captured by the Finns and put into service. That would make the Easy Model a real unique aircraft, the only one of its type in Finnish service.

It's true. Just use warm water and go at it with a fine brush.

Re: Easy Model Finnish AF Hurricane

Same worked for me, although I needed to use a fingernail to get the decal to start coming off.
