I just found out about easy models!

I've seen their unique schemes and the Russian warbirds. And their incredible price. I fell in love with their P-47D but could resist the temptation to buy others. P-51 was especially hard to resist but thanks to the long hole gap juts behind the canopy I decided not to buy it.

P-47D i bought is the blue checker nose with the marking: UNADILLA KILLA.
Is that supposed to be some sort of slang ? What does it mean?

Re: I just found out about easy models!

Unadilla is a town in the State of New York and Killa is just the way New Yorkers pronounce killer. So. the pilot is the Killer from Unadilla.

Re: I just found out about easy models!

Oh that's the meaning. Thx a lot.
Easy's P-47D is the best $8.00 i've spent in my entire life.
Too bad the rest of the series is just too reflective so they give out a clue they're made of plastic. Hope they fix it.

Thumbs up Re: I just found out about easy models!

I am glad you like these little plastic fantastics, the brotherhood has been mixed on thier opinions. They do have errors but this is not a perfect world{ so does Corgi and Dragon {Oh I am going to hell for that statement }}. I have set out to collect all 105 of them which makes me nuts.

However I think that each plane has a special place and as you already know they cover a wide range of makings. My favorite P47 D was a brithday present from my sons but they had a wicked smiles on thier faces when I un wrapped it. " BIG ASS BIRD!

So I like to finish with " ENJOY!"

But just remember that the little booklet is missing one extra set of P51D Mk IV

I got some of the WWII Yaks and MiGs just because they aren't available anywhere else. Like their colors. Glad you like the Easies. (And YYK, I'll cover your back on this: it isn't a perfect world, and Corgi isn't perfect. Infact, neither is GA; I just received a Gabreski Spit with crooked landing-gear covers and crooked wingtip! ARGGG. At least if you get a bad Easy you haven't shelled out 35 plus dollars on a lemon...)
