Easy Models for 2007

Trumpeter (the makers of 1/72 Easy Models tanks) announced a few of their 2007 releases in their 1/72 kit range. The kit range is what the Easy Models prebuilt/prepainted tanks are based on so there is a good chance at some point we will see some of these in the Easy Models range. Some were shown in their 2006 catalog, but others are new. They will probably announce more at the Nuremburg show as well. 6 Stugs with 5 of them the Stug III and different variants.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm looking forward to these coming out in the U.S. (They are coming out in the U.S., right?)

Re: Easy Models for 2007

Good looking stuff. Over at smallscaleafv.com in the hobby news forum they also have pics of upcoming t-34s, KVs, brummbars, and Tigers. Should be a good year.

Yes, Easy Models tanks are already available in the US. They range from $10.50-$12.50 depending on where you buy from.

Re: Easy Models for 2007

A damn shame they spoiled that KV-2 by sticking a German cross on it

That's just a captured version, they will have 3-4 different versions total.

Re: Easy Models for 2007

What do you think the chances are that Easy bring out the Famos? The tank recovery versions( early and late ) both look very nice and both would add variety to our fellow collectors' displays without the pain of building them.

In the U.K. the prices range from about $14.00 to $16.00

Re: Easy Models for 2007

Bad news on 2007 releases. I just spoke to a contact of mine and he said that Easy Models will only be adding 3 new tanks to their 2007 catalog as they try to catch up with what was announced in their 2006 catalog. The 3 new tank releases will be 3 versions of the Ariete Italian MBT (product codes; 013, 014, 15). The next Easy Models releases will include the T-34/76 and T-34/85.

They will release a new range of premade/prepainted helicopters: Sikorsky H34 Choctaw for Belgium, France and the German Navy.

That could be interesting- what scale? There are some nice schemes out there for the H34.
