Should Easy Models have a topic heading?

Hi Gang,
Well I spent some more of my good money on Easy Model planes and I think they as a company are here to stay. Even to a point that they may be as good as Dragon.
For the cost of a Corgi I can have 2 Easy Models not that I would not want any more Corgi. If we have Ixo as a topic heading then the same shold go around .

Re: Should Easy Models have a topic heading?

I have a couple of the EM Corsairs and really like them, also have the Mig 3 and a RAF P-40, I'd say they should be considered for a heading of their own!

Well...

I think a topic heading should be devoted to built-painted plastic model planes in general

Especially since some of the "diecast" are now probably 95% plastic.

Re: Should Easy Models have a topic heading?

In total agreement with you all. New tooling would be great but time will tell. I am in the process of collecting my secound set of the 21 models with a mind of having the full 5 sets. As my second son says"Dad it.s not your collection but OURS! " Need I have to say I had a happy feeling in my heart. Now the issue of plastic in dicast is very interesting. How much is too much? Also should we have a page we. re if some gets a model they can give it a rating. Something like a book club review

Do Easy Model planes come with optional up and down landing gear? Of is it fixed down? Thanks

Re: Should Easy Models have a topic heading?

I say yes. I really like the EM's I have. OK not very elaborate but they fill gaps in the collection and are inexpensive.

Re: Should Easy Models have a topic heading?

Easy Model planes look great, are inexpensive, and can be further detailed to improve their look. I have several and really love them.
