New 1:72 Easy Model Sherman

I have gotten 4 of the new Easy Model Shermans, 2 M4, 1 M4A1 and one firefly. Unfortunately, I don't fell the paint finish is good. The details are just ok. When I put the dragon shermans with them side by side, the dragons are a lot better.

Also, the easy model firefly looks totally different than the dragon's firefly. The dragon's cannon is longer than the easy model's canno. Is there a difference between the Britsh firefly and the American firefly?

Re: New 1:72 Easy Model Sherman

Easy Model does not make a firefly. You have an M4 with a 76mm gun. The Brit designed firefly is a 17pdr gun put in a normal turret that was extended in the back. The US put a 76mm gun in a redesigned turret. The 17pdr was a much more effective atg. True the EM Shermans are not Dragon level, but cheaper and more plentiful in schemes and types (and not a jerry version in sight!).

Re: New 1:72 Easy Model Sherman

Thanks, Tankguy. I must be mistaken the easy model M4A3E8 as firefly.
