# 37209 P-40B/C 3rd Sqn in China is a nice model (has the flying tiger as well as angel insignia)

# 37226 Yak-3 303 Fighter Aviation Divison 1945 also nice

The P-40B/C models are nice. I also have the F4F Wildcats (the Ranger pre-war is beautiful and goes with the pre-war HobbyMaster SBD) and a FM-2. I have a F4U-4 Corsair from VMF-323 which competes nicely with the Corgi version. In fact, I'm not spending the 30 plus dollars for the Corgi one as my EasyModel is as good and lots less expensive.

Re: Easy Models getting the eyeball test

I dont buy it, I got a couple of Easy Models because of the price, they are so lightweight I can se right thru some parts of the plastic, not for me, rather pay a few more bucks and get something awesome in diecast.

Also no stand, no gear options, lousy packaging.

Just my two cents,

Flaps

They do have stands. Check the little green package stuffed near the top of the plastic wrap inside the box.

I've got four of the things, all Russian, because MiG-3's and Yak-3's and Hurries with Red Star markings can't be found anywhere else in 1/72. Like the looks, but not the feel.

I like their P-40's, and Wildcat's. These are also good models to get if you like to customize your models.

Thumbs up Re: Easy Models getting the eyeball test

I have tried to collect one off each page in their booklet. Now I have all the 5 Me109G-10,s and the P51D,s . I am nuts about easy models and Duxford will agree there.

Yes, I have all the ME-109G's as well and I like them. Also like the F4F Wildcats, expecially the pre-war "USS Ranger" version!

Re: Easy Models getting the eyeball test

I like the fact that they are doing subjects other company's won't, especially in armor - M113, British SP Artillery, etc.

I'm looking forward to the NVA T-34.

They've also started doing 1/700 submarines, which is kind of neat, too.

I have a few of these myself - Fw-190Ds, P-40, F4Us, Wildcat and some Mustangs. I'll echo everyone's assessment that these little jems are well worth the money.

Re: Easy Models getting the eyeball test

The Easy Model Spitfires are interesting in that they offer a variety of configurations: Mk VB, Mk VB Trop with Vokes filter and a VB Trop with clipped wings and Aboukir filter. Good markings too.

The glaring error is there are no wheel well covers on the landing gear struts.
