New Arrivals

I will be long gone before Lord Is My Shepherd arrives--to say nothing of Jersey Jerk. Since I am collecting examples from various fighter groups, I went ahead and added another Easy Model Mustang to my collection: Jackie, of Lt. John Crump, 360th FS. It is just a fine little model.

In addition, I bought the pink Spitfire. What a delight that is.

Easy Model--For the Discriminating Collector....

Question Re: New Arrivals

Tell me more about Easy models. Are they die-cast? Where does one find them? How come TFM doesn't stock them?

No, they are plastic.

Re: New Arrivals

And......looking at some of the pictures of them it looks like you can see the seem on the leading edge of the wings Which is a big deal breaker for me. If any of you guys have some good high quality pictures of the leading edges I'd appreciate it

Re: New Arrivals

Which planes do you want a picture of planenuts? I've got the Wildcats, Corsair, and P-40Bs. Haven't got any 51s or 47s yet.

Thumbs down Re: New Arrivals

I have one of these and I gotta tell you they are pretty light weight, mine shows glue here and there and they need to be handled more carefully than a Dragon P-51. Plus nothing and I mean nothing moves or works
They weight about an ounce, lighter than most model kits in the same scale. Of course they are half the price of a Diecast, but I would much rather have a Witty Wings for the Sub $18.00 price range on the WWII stuff.

These also feature Zero detail in the cockpit and no pilot, if that bothers you, plus super weak fixed gear.

Flaps

Re: New Arrivals

Seems to be no seams on mine. The wings are cast in one piece (as far as I can tell). Spend $9 & buy one already!Oh sorry, there are no fiddly bits on these! They come pre-assembled!
