Re: New Arrivals

I just ordered four Easy Models to compare to equivilent issues from other makers. I've ordered the following: Bf109 G-6 VII/JG3, FW190D IV/JG3, P-51D 362FS/35FG and F4F VF 41 USS Ranger. $8.19 per plane, plus $3.99 shipping. On average we're looking at a plastic ready made model at $9.00 v. a comparable diecast at $30.00. It's going to be interesting to see now they stack up.

Yes, you are right as almost any 1/72 plastic kit will run you at least that, plus paint, glue and time. Can't beat the value!!!

Re: New Arrivals

I went to my local hobby shop today. I saw a Hasegawa P-40 model for $24.99. I bought an EasyModel P-40B/C that I'm going to repaint in early USAAF markings for $9.99. I just got a Corgi P-40F on ebay for $15.00. It's amazing to me how a plastic model costs more than a diecast plane. IMHO, EasyModel planes are truly worth the money and they are great.

Re: New Arrivals

I just got my hands on Easy's P-47D UNADILLA KILLA blue cheker nose. I don't know what it means or the history behind that particular a/c. I hope it's not a fictitious scheme

I think easy's P-47Ds are GREAT (caps means really great). I love it beyond my 3 dragon warbirds(Bf-109G2, Fw190D, Spit Mk V Trop). Hell never knew i could be so happy with only US$8.00.

I saw their Mustangs looks GREAT too but i refrain from buying it because there is a 'slit' opening to the rear of the canopy
