Re: New Arrivals

Great stuff, RonO-thanks. Where did you buy them, from the Internet or at your local hobby store? I've tried some local retailers, no joy, so it looks as though it'll be an online seller.

Post Re: New Arrivals

I just ordered four Easy Models to compare to equivilent issues from other makers. I've ordered the following: Bf109 G-6 VII/JG3, FW190D IV/JG3, P-51D 362FS/35FG and F4F VF 41 USS Ranger. $8.19 per plane, plus $3.99 shipping. On average we're looking at a plastic ready made model at $9.00 v. a comparable diecast at $30.00. It's going to be interesting to see now they stack up.

Thumbs up Re: New Arrivals

I have seen Easy Models being sold for $19.95 at a local toy shop . Thank the great maker there are more outlets that sell them fom $15.00 {Aus dollar}, my favorite supplier is the local Airforce Museam. At least the profit from my purchase goes into preserving the real things.

Squadron has a lot to offer. However, I can't buy from them because the system won't allow me to register. I sent them an email, but got no reply. Everytime I fill out their registration form, the form redisplays with the state and nation blank. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know any other vendor that sells MRC models? I can buy from the dealer (for $2.00 extra per model), but found a Stalin tank I've wanted for ages that is out of stock at MRC, but can be found at squadron.

In the meantime, I ordered a Yak-3 and a MiG-3 from MRC just to give the models a try.

Try Tower & BadCat. Both have good options. I should know; I just took delivery on 16 models

Re: New Arrivals

Easy Model--For the Discriminating Collector....

I think these are a great value for the price with alot detail and schemes that aren't offered in die-casts. I have a total of 17 different types (ME-109E-G's, F4F Wildcats, F4U Corsairs, F6G Hellcats, Yaks and Migs).
