Pics: Ina Macon Belle

It has been a gluttonous week

I snagged this off ebay earlier this week and it already touched down at my airfield -- always regretted not buying this model, and it is the new crown jewel of my collection. I really, really, really... really -- yes really -- like this model. I truly consider it to be the finest example of the "art" that I own or have seen, to date. Nice job Eagles, I do hope you come out with more toolings.

Re: Pics: Ina Macon Belle

Nice to see this model receive the attention it deserves, thanks Pappy! Patty Ann used to be my all time favorite diecast, but after I acquired Ina, I have a dead tie for my highest diecast affection. I don't think you can use too many "reallys" to describe this one. It is really, really... really... really that good!

Nice low production run, too! (I've got Patty Ann coming next week I may try to go for the "set" we shall see. I would definitely like the Ding Hao if I can nab one a good price.)

This is definitely one of my favourite EI models - the RAF Polish Mustang is equally .

I knew you'd like it. I sill say my Carousel 190s are tops as I had some QC issues with Ina. Minor ones but still.
I like the clouds too Pappy. That's fairly new I think. Something you bought or is it CPU generated?

Yeah, thanks -- just playing with some craft paper I found at Staples the other day.... trying to change things up a little, make the shots less "sterile" . I just set it in the photo tent for a backdrop, and reset the white balance. Could be interesting, but I wish the clouds/sky were at a higher resolution -- if you go much beyond F16 the pics will show the grain of the paper..

I like the C1 Doras but they just feel a bit toyish to me, can't really say why -- maybe it's the rubber pieces or just the cleanliness of the paint job... they are nice for sure, though. Up in my Top 5..

Excellent photos as usualy, Pappy! How many of the Tuskegee Mustangs do you have now besides the GMP and Eagles Intl. ones?

Are you getting the Corgi working range one as well? Thanks!

Pappy... what is a photo tent, how does it work, and where do you acquire one?
