P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback In the Mood of the 61st FS 56th FG

If I'd known about Diverse Images when this one was still available I might have coughed up the dough for it... looks very nice.

I'll take it too, Pappy. It is about time we get some warbirds in diecast with nude artwork!

I would also like to see one in David Shilling's markings.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

LOL -- there are some already Elmer, Pistol Packin' Mama, Creamer's Dream, from Corgi (sure there are more, too) and FM has a few, too; Dragon's Dirty Dianna F-16 .. spring to mind. But yes, I am a fan of the more risque noseart it seems -- it was popular in WWII more so than modern times (and now PC is crushing it, it seems) and thus, should be on the models -- just like Swazis -- IMHO.

I have plenty of pics of 'scantily clad' dames from a gorgeous hardbound nose-art book I purchased long ago. Some of the nose-arts are just too 'riske' for the PC-challenged crowd
out there...so F 'em! I want my warbirds w/nude artwork!!!

I think Dirty Diana was Witty's. I almost bought it, but she looks too much like a rock chick... kidding I think Diana goes back in Dutch folklore, so the character has basis in the culture. I bought Easy Models "Passion Wagon" , but I want the nudity bigger! Hence, we need it in 1:48 or 1:32. Oh, I almost forgot, I have FM/A's "California Cutie" , nice tease on that one with the towel coverning, but I also want the non-covering!
