Re: What scheme would you like to see for P-47?

I've always been partial to bare metal on my T'Bolts and Mustangs. So anything shiny would please me.

But I do like the one Mustangdriver suggested. I cannot wait for these to come out. Is there a due date??

I'm still drooling over Patty Ann.

Or the bare-metal 78th FG T-Bolts would look awesome as well...

That is one awesome model fly! What kit is that?

Re: What scheme would you like to see for P-47?

I thought EI was going to do a Razorback P-47 only, not the bubble-top D model.

Has anyone heard different? That would be great news indeed if they did both (but I really want the Razorback since I have a couple of FM P-47Ds already, and they are OK even if not to EI standard...).

Elmer, it's a http://www.internetmodeler.com/2003/.../tam_p-47d.htm

FVD, the EI P-47 is definitely a "Razorback" style canopy if I recall correctly though like you I wouldn't mind if they did a 'bubble top' D model from them as well!

How partial is this? It is one of my favorites, to be sure! AND, it is not a Mustang. See, I can bend....

Thanks for the link. I love Tamiya kits (I just wish I had time to build 'em).

Yeah , somebody stole that one from Duxford, last heard of it was over the pond.
Give it back please. It will leave a big gap on the flight line at the Legends this year.

Re: What scheme would you like to see for P-47?

I agree. I would love to see some NMF Thunderbolts from the 78th. I am a die hard Mustang fan but there is a part of me that loves the mighty Thunderbolt to. So like Duxford I to can bend a little bit. I have the black Thunderbolt in 1/32nd from 21st Century Toys and I think its really nice but I would love to see "No Guts No Glory" get done. Now thats a pretty looking Thunderbolt.
