| taking apart the Shangri-la -- how to get that blasted prop off? Okay, anyone have to take apart their Shangri-la to pack it or sell it or whatever -- I need to box mine up and I can't get the darn prop to come off. I believe it just snapped on, but it sure ain't just snapping off... and I already broke one model this week by trying to force issues  | |||||||||||||

It won't break the blades are metal, and he said that they are designed to take the abuse and be re-afixed. He showed me this when the Mustang first came out. It's supposed to be able to survive a tumble off of a five foot shelf. | |||||||||||||

Yup, I just pulled it off... took a lot of pressure to get it to move. I'll try Gavin's tip next time, I've still got another EI Mustang to pack! | ||||||||||||||

All you have to do is hold the plane away from you and "flick" the prop blade with your fingernail.. The prop will go flying off, with no harm done..  | ||||||||||||||
