Re: Patty Ann P-51 Photoshop style

That would be a good choice along with Lady in the Dark.

Re: Patty Ann P-51 Photoshop style

I think it be really cooll if EI would make one of these P-61's for the 1:48 scale collectors.
But since HM is making it in 1:72nd it may not happen anytime soon.
Also i wish EI make a Old Crow P-51B before they stop with the Mustangs.
Harry made a custom one for them and it was outstanding looking Old Crow.

Thanks for the compliment.. I have been "nudging" EI to produce an "Old Crow" for some time now as it would be my favorite among the various schemes, because I know that they are planning one/two more Mustangs before retiring the tooling..

Would they do a production run of a scheme that was done as a custom job? Don't know about you guys, but I'd be a bit miffed if I paid through the nose for a custom livery that was later done as a standard production run

I believe that the owner of EI told the buyers that if EI ever made the "custom" a standard release, that EI would reimburse them for the difference.. But don't quote me on that..

We're working to get this one in ro production before the end of the year. It's been in the R&D process for about a year.

That's true!
If you purchase a custom model from us and we end up adding it to the standard production line we will reimburse you for the difference*. While the production unit might bare the same paint scheme you would end up with a special edition hand painted model with a different part number for the same price as the standard production unit.

* Reimbursment is based by the standard production MSRP at the time of your purchase.
