Re: T-6 thoughts

Hondo showed last night in mint condition. One thing, It came with two canopy pieces and they both seem to fit over the rear seat area but neither fit over the front seat area. What gives? Did I get two for the rear by mistake? I should be able to close it all the way...right?

Pictures on the Flying Mule site show pretty good fit for both front and rear canopy. Could be a case of getting two rear canopy pieces.

Funny, I have the same problem with my yellow T-6.

Couldn't make it fit either.

Right. Contact OMI. They will help you out. I needed a gear strut with a door attached for the navy Texan, and a canopy piece for the USAF Texan. They sent me the pieces I needed at no cost, no trouble, and quickly. Good folks.

Re: T-6 thoughts

I talked to Richard just yesterday and OMI is sending my front canopy piece. Here it is. Glad I found one for a good price. These photos get huge if you click on them. Click the little one twice, once to open and again to enlarge. Not sure it does the rivets any favors but I still like it.

Leigh-Mallory and his big wings! Might as well stay on the ground for all the use they are!
