Re: The dope on the Texan

Any chance of a custom on these Mark.I have a particular RNZAF livery I'm interested in.

Yes, custom units will be available in every type of aircraft that we produce.

Yet another way Eagles Int'l differentiates itself from the competition.

1. Higher quality models w/ addititional features and better research.

2. Customer forum participation.

3. Affordable custom finish options.

I am dying to see their Reporter. There is going to be a lot of detail packed into that machine. I'm in it for the engines alone.

Re: The dope on the Texan

I can't wait to see the P-61 or the A-26.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: The dope on the Texan

Hey mkvb, do you have a picture of the RNZAF one you're interested in. If you were getting a custom done, I could be interested as well.

(I once said I was never going to buy any 1:48 models, but with that Hobby Master Buffalo coming out soon, I know I'm going to end up breaking my own rule!)

Spinnaker, welcome to the realm of the 1/48 enlightened few

Now, before you proceed any further you have to be able to recite:

Carousel 1 FW190D11 Red 4
Carousel 1 FW190D11 Red 4
Carousel 1 FW190D11 Red 4

Cardinal,

I think the Buffalo would pee its respective pants sitting next to the pajama-clad Butcherbird.

Re: The dope on the Texan

Thanks Card, but NO FW190D11 Red 4 for me!!! I'm weakening / succumbing to the lure of some Kiwi planes in 1:48 (HM Buffalo, EI Harvard, maybe even an FM Dauntless). But only if they have a local connection!

However, I do remember when I was starting out collecting questioning why anyone would want more than one Spitfire model. I've currently got 21, all in 1:72

Yeah right! You're on the slippery slope now and time will be the judge ... . Trust me, you'll like that FW190D11 when you eventually give in to the inevitable .

Re: The dope on the Texan

Thanks mkvb. That scheme would certainly look nice in the collection. Drop me a PM if you decide to go ahead with a commission - maybe they'll do a deal for us if there were two being done ? ;-)
