Re: Which liveries interest you the most?

Hey ARA, thanks for the great comments about my gameroom. Yeah it is a great time to hang out there. It is better when one of my buds that is into airplanes is over, because they appreciate it more. The WWII vet that is honored in my gameroom is my wife's grandfather. He was a radio operator on LST's and was in the invasion of Normandy, and then went to the Pacific. I have his pics form D-day, medals, dogtags, and the teletype he got saying that the war was over in that frame. I also have a cup that he found in the beach on Iwo.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Which liveries interest you the most?

If I guessed A-20 and P-61 would you tell me if I was right, or when we might see them? Have I metioned how much I love you guys?

We have been working on variable tooling designs for the Invader and Black Widow for almost eighteen months now. It's likely that the P-61 will be out before the end of the year. However, we're looking at 08, at the earliest, for the Invader.

To answer an earlier question, Yes, we are going to try to design our tooling so that the F-15A (RF-61C) Reporter can be produced.

A P-61 and an A-26 in 1/48th scale!? J.P. I think I am going to faint. Oh man that is awsome!! Any word when they might take preorders or anything like that? At any rate, thank you for the heads up. That is great news.

At this point, I have no idea. I just learned, this week, that we're going to try to fit three more aircraft types in this year. There's a ton of hurdles to jump before we can begin to take pre-orders. However, I'll let you guys know when ever we do.

Hopefully, I'll have Texan photos tonight.

Mark,

Great news on the development of the Invader and Widow. They will certainly be unique contributions to the 1/48 hobby.

Mustangdriver, your gameroom is a tribute to the history of the guys who gave up the sweetest parts of their youth so that we can live our lives today. in 1944 my dad was in the US Navy and my Uncle was in D Day plus 4.

Next time you watch the Steelers vs. Patriots think of me. I am known as Patriot Artist on a few football DGs.

Re: Which liveries interest you the most?

Hey all, check out Mark's (and Admin's) RF-61C profile. Those turbo supercharged R2800-73's are going to look MASSIVE.

This Reporter variant is going to be a great model. EI will get heads turning with this one.

Re: Which liveries interest you the most?

I hope that they do Lady in the Dark for the P-61. The reporter is sweet as well. I will be buying at least one P-61's, 1 reporter, and 1 A-26. Now that I think of it maybe two of each.
