Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

I think Mark's last word on the subject (at least on this forum) was in mid-December when he indicated the T-Bolt tooling is still in the design process; several types being evaluated for possible tooling.

It has been nearly four months since Mark posted the teaser pics. The anticipation is killing me!

Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

Sorry about that fellas.
The factory is being a real pain about production issues on the Texan and they keep delaying our delivery schedule. The Tooling designs are complete for the T-Bolt, however, the production and announcement schedules depend on us getting the Texan to market. The first Texan was supposed to be delivered last November. We won't get to look a the first-shot or soft-tooling sample until next week in NY. Ugh!

We are investigating new ways, and possibly manufacturers, to speed this process up in the future.

Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

I am really looking forward to adding a T-6 to my collection. And I somehow overlooked the announcement of an EI Thunderbolt! I am really losing my mind. This is just way to much anticipation to bear. Hurry-up EI, meet some production and delivery deadlines - I can't take the wait.

Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

That looks sooooo nicely detailed!! Thanks EI!!!

Mark, can you tell us if the tooling is designed for manufacture of razorback and bubble top versions?

Also, when might we see some of your fabulous shots of the first Texans?

A Gabreski P-47 - what an excellent choice! I better start making some room for my next round of EI purchases. Thanks for the great pic.

Mark can we still expect to see the AT-6 in March for the 1st two releases or do you think it will be a little longer?

Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

I talked to my boss on the phone tonight. He's in NYC for the toy fair. He sounded very enthusiastic about the final Texan samples. I should have these prototypes in-house by Wednesday so I'll try to have pics for you then.
