Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

I talked to my boss on the phone tonight. He's in NYC for the toy fair. He sounded very enthusiastic about the final Texan samples. I should have these prototypes in-house by Wednesday so I'll try to have pics for you then.

Outstanding!! Thanks Mark!

Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

I'm looking forward to seeing what EI does with their P47 Thunderbolt.

I have the Franklin Mint Eagleston version and it is an excellent piece of 'heavy' diecast that displays exceptionally well together with Carousel's FW190D11 Red 4 (i.e. the sleek and the fat - opposites in design philosophies) .

Mark,
Is this photo of the actual die-cast model or of a plastic mock-up? Any more news on this release?

The pic is of the plastic paint master.. I can't say for sure when EI is producing the Tbolt as they want to get thru a few issues of the Texan/Harvard before they start on the next mold..

Are these plastic paint masters their own or do they paint up existing plastic models like Tamiya's Thunderbolt?

Cool Re: Any intel on the EI T-Bolts?

Well that P47 really looked good! That in diecast would be absolutely awesome.

Nice work! I hope EI uses Tamiya's kit as a template. It is awesome!
