Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????

Roger that buddy, thanks

Sorry, I don't mean to crush anyones hopes-n-dreams, because I want this plane as much as anyone, but I did speak with the owner of E.I. today and that was the info he relayed to me..

Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????

Mustang,
It may be A LONG TIME before this idea is realized IF EVER.. I just had an idea and wanted to see what people thought about it.. In all reality, I would have to get atleast 300 preorders for this plane before Eagles will consider making it and I was told that since Mr. Anderson is getting up there in years, he might not be up to signing 500 certificates.. So this might be a lost cause..

Personally, while the signature idea is great, I would still be interested in the model for that price if it was produced in a more limited run that past P-51Bs and came with a LE cert of any kind. A nice print or booklet with info on Bud with a printed signature would be a nice add-in..

Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????

You didn't crush my hope and dreams bud. That would involve Lindsay Lohan! I more than likely am going to get one of these now anyway, due to the fact that I already have a Franklin mint SE P-51 from him, as well as the GMP Old Crow signed as well. And several photos, and the book when I interviewed him. Thanks for the info. And if they do make one, I will still by the Signature edition.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

The signed certificate would be nice but I'd still buy one without it

If this did happen, it would have a numbered certificate, but the signature is the tough part of the deal.. Now, if I can only get 300 preorders...

Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????

Now, if I can only get 300 preorders...

Now how are you going to do that ?
Use EI website for pre-orders of Limited Edition of 300 Old Crow P-51B Mustang.
That would be the best way to do it i think.
I'm sure you will sale 300 of them if it's going to be Advertise the correct way ...Something promoting it will be the key to it's success.
Advertisement at it's best.
