| Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????
Unfortunately, adding a painted nose art panel or something like it would probably require additional tooling, which would increase the price beyond what any regular customer would be willing to pay.. My suggestion of a numbered and signed certificate is a cheaper and easier method to add a little more collectibility/significance to the piece (I personally think EI should have done numbered certificates with all of its releases, but that's just me) and it would be much easier for Mr. Anderson to sign 500 certs rather than 500 pieces of plastic or 500 airplanes..As I stated in my original post, this is just an idea... It doesn't mean it is going to happen... But, I have spoken with EI about doing something like this and if I get enough support behind the idea, it might be possible.....![]()

| I'd be interested if the price point stays where you suggest. The only problem I have is that all my collection is 1:72 with the excepition of three 1:32 scale planes. ![]() | |||||||||||||

That's affirmative. Those first models are the only and last partial assembly models to be produced by OMI.

| Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????
Mustang, It may be A LONG TIME before this idea is realized IF EVER.. I just had an idea and wanted to see what people thought about it.. In all reality, I would have to get atleast 300 preorders for this plane before Eagles will consider making it and I was told that since Mr. Anderson is getting up there in years, he might not be up to signing 500 certificates.. So this might be a lost cause.. ![]()
