Heh.. Not so fast Pappy... This is just an idea, I can't say whether it'll really go, but if I get enough positive response, you never know what could happen..

Oh I knew that, just trying to communicate my enthusiasm for the idea

I already own four EI Mustangs, but I am sure I could wedge one more into the collection.

I say yes! I wonder how much excitement there will be for this?

Who will get the 51st post?

...some of you know what I mean

Leigh-Mallory and his big wings! Might as well stay on the ground for all the use they are!

Without a doubt. yes please.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????

Yes I'd get it, but one thing I'd like to make sure is that it was the premade P-51B model rather than the kit form. I backed out of the original EI release for the Gentile since I prefer models to be as complete as can be requiring as little assembly as humanly possible. This goes into what I call boxability, the ability to put the thing away with minimum fuss and disassembly, which over time can result in numerous lost fiddly bits. But let me know when this will go, I've always admired Bud Anderson, and the plane you'd release was featured in the original episode of History Channel's Dogfight show.

Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????

Hate to be a dampner, no wrong in an objective opinion though.
With all the old crows around and the scale, I think 500 would be far too many. Buds sig would be great, but it would not fit in my collection, maily 1/72 so I wouldn't get it.

Most of the 262 FM's were bought by model hanger members, the majority of people, owning up to it or not buying multiples (hense many people selling extras that their 'twice removed' mother-in law no longer wants, wow what a coincidence) I bought more than one, I have no problem owning up to it, it was not a crime. Anyway point being a smaller run maybe would be good or in a corgi or dragon or even gemini 1/72.

THats my two cents anyway, now if the mule had one in inventory reduction sale then I would get one.

Re: Exclusive "Old Crow" P-51??????

Whew!!! I'm feeling better now. Still a little lightheaded (I know, I can hear you all now- what's different from usual) had to lie down for few minutes.

Of course I'll buy one. What a great idea, regardless of the number of iterations of this bird.

In fact, Bud can sign mine as guest of honor/keynote speaker at the First Annual TMH Convention
