Re: Dragon 1/72 Sherman 60257 in stock!

The M4A1 was used from the D-Day landings all the way to the end of the war (though other variants came out too).

Actually the M4A1 served from North Africa to the Heart of Germany. The M4A2 just sqeeks by with a longer record as we gave those to the Brits first in North Africa.

Re: Dragon 1/72 Sherman 60257 in stock!

Just got a box full of 1/72 diecast tank goodies from House of Hobbies as discussed on the previous page. Not much more to say than they're an A+ trader in my book. Will be sending much more business their way in the future.

I got a couple tanks and a plane from them too.

They are an A #1 dealer......not the biggest selection, BUT, great prices, great service.........I'll do a lot more business with them.

Re: Dragon 1/72 Sherman 60257 in stock!

I also like the "rough" look that Dragon has captured, that the real thing had.

I wasn't planning on getting that many Shermans until I started to see them in person . I bought one, then another and decided that would be it until I saw 'Battling Bitch' . Dragon has captured the look almost perfectly and even though it's not, it looks like metal straight from the foundry - excellent texture .

This is virtually an identical replica to a M4A1 Sherman that I played on as a kid and it is definitely worth adding to any collection of 1/72 armour (as with other pieces of Dragon Armor the pictures do not do it justice) .

(I know that the Dragon Armor range apparently does not hold its value and to be quite honest I really don't give a d*mn as their products have authenticity and detail that are a cut above many of their competitors - I'm also learning to come to accept their lack of metal although that is for me the only downside to the range.)

One sheep to rule them all ...

Like I said some time ago; Dragon Armor is like eating potato chips........try buying JUST one

WARNING:
Do not eat any Dragon armor. There are no edible parts. Dragon armor is intended to be displayed on a shelf. You can also display potato chips on a shelf. You can eat potato chips. You can also collect potato chips. Potato chips have a lack of metal content also. If you wish to display your Dragon armor with your potato chips that's just fine and dandy with me.

Has anyone removed a Tiger I turret & found a metal cylinder sitting on a shaft w/in the chassiss? For some reason, said cylinder was painted the same color as the tank.

I think that cylinder is the "metal" for diecast.
