Winter Camo Panther

After giving up hope of ever seeing one I tried my limited modeling skills. Pictures aren't the best, the underlying camo shows better in person. I am pretty pleased with it. Don't like the numbers but haven't decided what I want to do with them. Totally messed them up on the other side. After this I will be doing the rest of Dragon's unreleased German Winter armor to round out the collection.

Re: Winter Camo Panther

Great job, weih9995! Of all Dragon's Panthers, the “411" sports the worst camouflage job. She looks downright pretty in white.

Re: Winter Camo Panther

well done looks great, can i ask if you used a weathering technique on the model? I would like to see it on a winter base ( from a T34 ) or the winter Hummel dio base,if the tracks match, may just add to its uniqueness, thanks for sharing it with us,contemplating a repaint job on an E100 myself.

Re: Winter Camo Panther

I used Model Master Acryl (acrylic) #4765 Light Gray, it's the first shade after Flat White. I used acrylic so it would come out looking like a wash, not looking "painted". I used a really small flat brush so any streaks wouldn't look too wide. It goes on real easy and you can just wet the brush to change the density or apply in layers. The underlying camo doesn't show through well in the picture but on the barrel & skirts it looks good, very subtle.

Great job, Wieh9995,

If you can't find 'em, do it yourself!
