Singular Shermans

So I’m tellin’ myself I’ll have to curtail my Dragon Armor purchases, thinking prices are just too high anymore and I’d best save my pennies for trivial concerns like food and mortgage and utilities, etc., etc., when The Flying Mule sends me a nice fat package and I open it up ...

... to see Dragon’s two new Shermans ... and I’m a goner.

Won’t these guys give me a break?-!-? My gosh, how’s anybody supposed to curb their diecast spending jags with honeys like these hitting the street?

As I write I’m looking at the #60163 Sherman and drooling. Dragon has managed to create a mini masterpiece, an eye boggling replica of one of my all-time favorite tanks; and I’m stunned. Everything about it is smack-right-on perfect. Even the .50 sitting atop the turret is perfect. Everything’s perfect!

It makes me want to murder the little B@!!#rds who dreamed up Dragon in the first place. My wallet hasn’t got a chance!

Gort,
Hey there sir.

The thing to remember is that Dragon will (soon) be coming out with 87 more liveries for the Sherman. Try and be patient and keep your Sherman purchases below company level.

Since you are pretty handy with a camera, could you post pictures perhaps highlighting some of the details that you like best and like least about the Dragon Sherman?

Thanks!

Give me a little time on that one, djjeffhal. I’ll break out the equipment and shoot the thing silly, high, low and everywhere else.

Honestly, I wish I had never cast my eyes upon Dragon Armor. I’m so addicted to this stuff, it’s gushing out of my ears!

Gort,
Is there a diecast brand of Methodone? (This is also the end of my pathetic attempt at humor. At least it's topical and semi reletvant....)

I'm afraid I'm what is known on some of the armor model sites as a "Shermanaholic"

I will probably be getting almost all, if not all, of the Shermans.

We need more choice in the smilie department!!!!!!

I will try to get at least 1 of the different variants. I hope Dragon will be making an Easy8 and howitzer version. The new 7th Armored Div. looks great and the Firefly is a must.

New Dragon subjects...

Yeah those 2 Shermans are great! I must admit I was surprised how well done they are. I mean jeez it's just another Sherman.

Anyone know if the German half tracks are out or when due?

Indeed, we're having a hard time now. With the new Easy Models it will be even worse, though I'll stick with Dragon. All are plastic, but Dragon has the better plastic
Where will it lead us...Shermans...T-34s...251s...Jagdpanzer...even StuG III on the horizon...I won't think about it and all the money that will *have to* go for these models
