| dragon models tracks i am an avid collector of dragon 172nd scale models since 60001 but for sometime now i have been concerned about the obvious tacky track joins that first came to my attention with the first t34/76 model no 60134 and a cyber hobby king tiger 60253.i know the tracks were rectified in models 60165 onwards but it has returned with a vengence, through out the range, shermans, sdkfz 251s and the long awaited stug llls.on a recent recce to my local model shop with wish list in hand i was dismayed at the number of models i had to put back on the shelf with faulty or damaged tracks and the stock available that day was amazing.i will not buy a model to add to my collection that is not fit for purpose, has anyone found the same problem?.it seems to me that the fault has become endemic,if you look at the promo photo for model 60360 you can clearly see the track fault and that will retail for £16.99 not the usual £10.99 so if you dont already i would check the contents of the model of your choice very carefully,or do you think i ask too much as a collector from a manufacturer who says it prides itself in providing a qualitative and accurate model,at £16.99 a pop dragon need to improve quickly to avoid making the range questionably valuable and desirable. |
