Cool Wanted: Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M

Hey Dragon!

How about using your Leopard 2A6 mould to construct a Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M (CAN) Tank.

Canada currently has a 2500 member Battle Group in Kandahar, Afghanistan fully involved in operations against the Taliban.

The 20 Leopard 2A6Ms are on loan from the German Army. Canada has signed a contract to purchase 100 surplus Leopard 2s
the Dutch government and will be delivered this fall.

Sign me up. I'd make this my first piece of armour.

We can add it to the wish-list. And wishing tends to be about as far as things get with Dragon some times.

Re: Wanted: Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M

This one's been on my wish list since the last time Canadian Leopard 2s were brought up here

Dragon doesn't seem to have paid much attention to its Leopard 2 line since they had so much trouble selling off the first four models. They've been around for a while and you can find all four at low prices everywhere. This might explain why you've never seen the 2A4, 2A5 or 2A6 in liveries other than German.

I don't think I've ever seen a 2A6M on any news report from Afghanistan (on U.S. television). What about Canadian TV?

Re: Wanted: Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M

And there's all sorts of other Canadian AFVs that have yet to be made in diecast as well as some plastic kits. I'd like to get some to honor our friends to the north.
