Re: Wanted: Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M

One of my favorite Dragon pieces is the Challenger II, Royal Army BATUS, Canada, #60035. Very well done. To my knowldedge, this is the only Canadian modern tank that Dragon made.

We never used them so that would be one stationed out West by the Brits for exercises right?

Re: Wanted: Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M

There have been a few Corgi Canadian armour pieces. I have two, not sure if there are any others.

Both 1:50 scale, CC60101 Churchill Mark III 'C' Squadron, Calgary Regiment, 1st Canadian Army Tank Brigade, Dieppe Raid, August 1942

CC60404 M3 White Half Track 29th Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment (The South Alberta Regiment), 4th Canadian Armoured Division

I concur on the modern Canadian pieces though, would love to see a Canadian LAV from FOV, Canadian Leopard, something, anything. Same with Todd McFarlane, Canadian ex-pat from Calgary, you'd think he would step up and feature a Canadian line to his Military series, money talks, nationality walks, I guess.

Re: Wanted: Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M

I'd kill for any Canadian modern armoured, from the Leopard 2A6M, the upgraded M113 TLAV's in Afghanistan and an LAV-25. I would buy a German/US armour variant but if they didn't have an American/German flag/symbol on it (nothing against them, but i can't claim its a Canadian version). I'm sure Aussies and other smaller country's collectors that share our armour have the same problem, so it would be a small market.

As a side note theres a HUGE C1 Leopard painted OD at my local military recruiting office. I'm guessing it could be done by minichamps custom piece and its too big and heavy to steal. It's the size of a german shepard haha.

Perhaps we should get this moved to the HM threads, They, at least, are listening to us.
