2008 releases?

Alright, 2007 seemed to be the year of the 251's for Dragon. They appear to be adding more this year. However, I wonder if this will be the year of the Stug III? We have yet to see a skirted verions and maybe some more camo patterns. That being said, I wonder what truely new releases we will see this year? Maybe a Brumbar? A Panzer IV? More Russian Tank destroyers?

Juneau1,
Chinese New Year just started so I surmise we really won't know anything for the new few weeks. Then, there will be a veritable flood.

They can't shut the whole country down for 3 weeks.

Re: 2008 releases?

Are you sure about that? Seems like that is what happens every year. The Chinese seem to set their own rules.

If they want to be taken seriously as an emerging industrialized nation they won't.
Besides Wal Mart would not let them.

Talking Re: 2008 releases?

Let's hope that they start to produce kits for the Panzer lV in all its forms. That would be a good indicator of what's to come.

If you want to look into the future, just do a search on the web ( ebay ) to see what's currently available from Dragon in kit form. Once you see the kit, you know that the pre-built versions are not far away. If you can peek inside the kit boxes, you'll have a good idea of which camo schemes may be chosen for which vehicle.

If the kit does not exist, don't expect to see it in built form !

Re: 2008 releases?

Yep. Kits that still don't have a corresponding built-up version include:
- Tiger (P)
- Bergepanzer Tiger (P)
- PzBeoWg V Ausf G
- T-34/85 mod 1944 late production
- Challenger 2 w/dozer blade
- Challenger 2 w/bar armour
- SdKfz 251/2 Stuka zu Fuss
- Su-85
- M3A2 w/ERA

Also, other StuG III, 251/1, Sherman, and T-34 variants are almost sure to be released this year. Regarding new types... God knows!
