Re: Dragon Sherman Firefly!

Dragon appear to have done a good job on this one - the turret actually looks like it was cast like the real thing. I assume the model is mainly 'plastic' and not true 'die-cast'?

Re: Dragon Sherman Firefly!

Cardinal,

There is a little bit of weight to it so I presume some metal is involved but it is a cracker of a model IMHO. Bring on a Churchill!!!

If you yank the turret off I think you'll find a chunk of metal screwed to the lower hull.

I hope Dragon does a Churhill and a Cromwell

Re: Dragon Sherman Firefly!

Plastic/Diecast, whatever the material, it's a great lookin' model. I'll take crisp detail over weight...Though I will wait for the regular release ("Velikye Luki") as I've not been one to track down show exclusives. Though I hope someday, someway, we'll get another Firefly with that bustle box. (One that hasn't been commandeered by the Germans...)
