Lol help me choose how to spend my money

Been lookin to buy Dragon's 1/72 Russian T-34-85. But nowadays there's only the T-34-76 Russian version(The Russian scheme T-34-85 was never being sold here). Also lookin to buy a Sherman perhaps the M4A4. But the jagdpanzer(one with Pz IV chassis) is pretty good. Help me choose between these three as I only intend to buy two of em. As i also build model kit. 1/72 scale seems to be pretty small compared to 1/35 and that's why i stopped collecting Dragon some time ago.

The other choice would be the book "Chariots of fire' which is being sold at half price. As the name suggested it's a book about tanks but there seems nothing much that i haven't already known that's written in the book. Book is sold at US$25.00 whreeby it was originally sold at US$50.00

Tough call for me which one to buy the book or Dragon's models? I'm a little tight on cash so can't buy em all. . So pls help the poor fellow(that's me) would you..lol

Your just as bad as me lol, I go to my hobby shop then end up not sure if I am going to buy some tank books or the diecast tanks LOL!! I would go for the book I guess, Just because it is cheaper to buy now and may be harder to find down the road. Or would I go with the tanks?, NUTS, LOL

I really like the Jagdpanzer IVs. I have an L/40 and L/70. Just ordered an L/70 Command version. I have several tank books, but have found that there is a wealth of info on the net, so, buy the tanks!

Red face Re: Lol help me choose how to spend my money

Yea it's a nuts people dilemma. If only books were made exactly like the shape of its subject...nay. Or the models contained as much information as books, booklets perhaps...I need a theraphy to decide between cosmetics or content. But then again i would have to pay the therapist and forgo both the books and the tank models.....

Do they do sanity check for free?....LOL

Ask Jim's wife, Lorraine! She's either a psychiatrist or psychologist (I forget which). Perhaps Jim could get you a discount, at least!

Naaa thx I think i better get the really free one.

I mean nowadays we all can get checked up for free: blood-pressure, blood-sugar, cholesterol-level, body-composition, heart rythem.
No i'm not talkin about hospital. We all can get checked-up for free at the mall. They even give some consulation for free. Perhaps there's one for sanity check too...i have my fingers crossed....Mall is just amazing.don't u think..LOL

You can't go wrong with Dragon's Shermans. Creighton Abram's Sherman, the M4A3E8 "Thunderbolt VII", was recently released and is a little gem. Treat yourself to an original "Abrams tank".

Re: Lol help me choose how to spend my money

Wow thanks PickMattock that's a bold testimony. I know Dragon's Sherman is better than FOV's.

I was once so charmed by FOV's Sherman. But after Dragon release their Shermans i feel i want to throw my FOV's Sherman into the bin.
I'll be sure to pick the Sherman as i tend to pick tanks with significant historical background if i didn't buy the book.
