Unclear Dragon Armor acrylic display case

My recent shopping experiences told me that when you buy Dragon Armor from retailer with physical stores such as Michigan Toy Soldiers, BHH, etc, it;s very likely that you get items with acrylic display case unclear or even minor scratched due to shelf wear....Rarely encounter this problem when shopping with pure online store....kind of frustrating expereinces since I usually don't take out the thank out of the case, and an unclear case can be a serious and annoying problem............Anyonw knows where I can get/buy replacemnet acrylic case for Dragon Armor items? Thanks a lot!!

Re: Unclear Dragon Armor acrylic display case

I wish I could think of a place myself as I too have had problumes in the past with dragon cases. I find some have big scratches on them. I bought a bunch not long ago and they stuck the price tag on the case and that was fun trying to get off I tell ya.

Re: Unclear Dragon Armor acrylic display case

I have no remedy for this myself, but I remember that aircraft kit builders used to have a number of techniques to polish clear parts, usually canopies, back to their "new" state, including the removal of not-too deep scratches. There's products like Meguiar's Canopy Polish, Plexus Perspex Polish, and a host more. A Google search for perspex or canopy and polish will give you much more info. Hope this helps.

Thumbs up Re: Unclear Dragon Armor acrylic display case

Cool, thanks for the insights. Now to find them here. I've also got some Dragon cases that could do with a bit of a spruce up.

To remove the 'sticky/paper' price tag residue from any item just use a little cooking oil (e.g.sunflower) on a cotton bud and wipe clean afterwards .

e-mail LegioLXXll. He saves up the cases and then sells them at meets. I'm sure that he won't mind me saying that he might be able to help.
