I do not remember reading about it here, so for all Leo lovers: 60083 Leopard 2A4 4./PanzerLehrbataillon 93 ("OPFOR Vehicle") has made it (at least) to Germany.

It looks a lot like the not so new 60082, enhanced with several red "X" and a red light on the turret roof.

Maybe there is room for another version with blue "X".

What we need is a Canadian Army Leopard 2A6M.

Twenty of which entered service this August in Operations against the Taliban in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

100 more are to be purchased from the Dutch Army and will arrive next year.

Dragon already has a Leopard 2A6 mould with a previous German Army release.

(Even the paint camo is the same - just add the Canadian Maple Leaf on the turret and Voila!

The only thing preventing me from buying a Leopard is the German logo since I can't claim that its Canadian and I don't have the skill to paint my own maple leaf haha.

{EDIT} Sorry I just noticed the pic and another difference is the MG-3/MG-34 would need to be a C6 better known as an M240 used by the yanks. But thats just another tiny cosmetic thing and I'm assuming DML has M240 on their Abrams or Bradley's

Is it really just the black Maple Leaf that is different? There must be a decal sheet we could use. Anyone have any sources?

It'll be nice to see a Canadian Leopard with the famous maple leaf insignia. Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind a Swiss Leopard, or better still, a Singaporean Leopard. Yup, there are 66 Leopard 2A4s in service with the Singapore Army, but I doubt a diecast model of that would be produced
