Yup, looks that way to me. Still cool but not as cool as the thunderbolt but then I guess that is just me

After waiting for Shermans for so long I can’t get enough of them. I’m just worried about the track being backwards. Both of their new HVSS vehicles have been previewed with the T66 track on backwards. I hope that’s taken care of before their release… Apart from that she looks great! Keep'em comin'!

What's with that black star on the turret and the white star on the body??? Somebody run out of white paint? If the crew wanted to minimize the star's bull's-eye value on their turret, why paint one at all?

The white star on the side of the turret made a perfect aiming marker for German tanks. The black star on the turret made it harder to see by land but still easy to see by aircraft to avoid friendly fire. From the air, the black star would stand out.

The star on the turret was white (probably left the States that way), but at some point was painted over by the crew. I suppose they could have just painted a black mess over the stars instead of keeping its shape, or painted out all the stars, but at least now we have interesting models.

Are you sure? I may need some convincing .
