Re: Dragon Armor rumors

Dear Copeland,

I wandered into my favourite hobbyshop, downtown, and spied the very first issue of the dragonkind. Two Tigers: one in winter camo, and one in sand with green stripes. I looked, and looked, and looked. " I like the look of these!" I thought. Hummm, £8.99, fully built and detailed.

Revell were just issuing the first of their new Tiger kits. £5.99. I thought for two more seconds. " Hell, I can by the Revell kits and these, whatarethey? Dragon Armour things. This will widen my collection and save me the time of building two types. I like the display boxes too. I'll get, let me see. How many of the Dragons are there? I'll get two of each type and I'll get the new Revell Tiger too. Wow! Over forty quid, gone, just like that! Still, those Tigers look the business!"

If I saw one at $250, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole!

If you luck out, good! If you miss the bus, they'll be another along in a few minutes ( well, this used to be the case before 'Privatisation'...curse the Thatcher! )

On the other hand, if you've money to burn and you are a completist, go for it!
