When did we give them Boise?...and why?...war reparations?....

I thought you guys already did that in 1948?

Now what was the name of that plan?

Re: New Dragon Armor announcements

What Dragon is doing with this latest Tiger I release, you can do yourself. Just turn the turret to the 2 oclock position and remove it from the hull. Then mix and match any turret with any hull you want since they all fit the same.

Yes you can create hybrid tanks too.
Just for the fun of it I had a King Tiger turret fitted onto a Tiger I hull... strange looking thing with mismatched camo
Doesn't work the other way around though as the 'hole' for the Tiger I is a bit larger than the Tiger 2 -- unless you want to break something to make it fit

Anyway, the new release looks good to me. Especially without the zimmerit.

Re: New Dragon Armor announcements

What's with these Elefants again? Are we going to have like 10 versions of this in 1/35 scale now?

More like 20... I would think. Saves from making a new mould.

Re: New Dragon Armor announcements

Hi Fabius and welcome to the forum, A few years ago ( I cannot remember exactly but not many, no more than 5) the British government announced that at last we had finished repaying America for the war loans.
Please would you Pm me details of those 2 books I would definately like to read them.
All I can say is that we see it different in the UK. Britain was bankrupt in 1945 with most of our factories in a bad way. Full of worn out machinary. No money to invest and rationing going on into the 1950s. I have distant memories of sweets coming off ration in about 1952. As a small child my mother would put cocoa powder in a bag with some suger and that was my sweets for the week.

Funny to look back and think that Britain was offered Volkswagon as part of a deal to pay for the troops over there and yes, we said no, Well I never said we Brits were very bright!
Well all you good folks I must leave yoy for a week, its time to take she who must be obeyed, away for a holiday. ( JIms cunning plan to go to Bovington tank museum will be put into action, chance to see a real live Tiger in full running order plus another few dozen or aso other types. including some WW1 examples).
Please everyone dont post too many posts , I will never catch up with them all.
