Re: Some new goodies for November

SU-85M does look excellent. Although, the Russian book that I have titled "SPGs of the Red Army of WWII" has a slightly different rendering of the same vehicle. Worse yet, it's identified as "unidentified", and I couldn't find any B&W photos of it:

My sources identify this vehicle as either a Su-100 or a Su-85M of 383rd SP Artillery Rgt, 9th Tank Corps in Berlin. All are in accordance with the profile provided by Berkut76, and one of these sources could be Dragon itself!! They seemingly have this same option in their Su-85M/Su-100 kit in 1/35 scale, and the built-up models I've seen on the Net show markings applied as in Berkut's profile.

A photograph taken from the starboard side also matches the profile attached by Berkut76. So... Why don't we let Dragon know about this issue, so that they can get it right before the model is released?

That white circle on the left side of the Russian tank looks just like the center of a bullseye on a target, perfect for German tanks to take aim at. LOL.

I would rather of been in a Tiger than in this for sure. And yes, 'zero' in on the bullseye for a kill.

Given that it's Berlin circa 1945, I take my chances in "olive drab" vehicles. Su-85 and Su-100 were excellent tank-destroyers superior to StugIII/IV and Jagpanzer, only inferior to Jagdpanther.
