| Acrylic Model "See through" tanks I e-mailed Dragon inquiring about the possibility of them making a "see through" tank. I know this might sound crazy, but a few years ago I came upon a site that had such an animal for sale. It was "modular" in that you could remove certain "clear" parts of the tank which revealed a pretty detailed interior. I would love to have a Tiger I which was made like this. This would probably have to be done with their 1/35 line, although the interior detail of their 1/72 half-tracks is very well done. I would certainly pay $150.00 for such a tank. What do you guys think? | |||||||||||||

Reason: Commercial linking
Tamiya has some 1/48 scale planes which utilize this concept. They have a Swordfish, a Mig 15, and 2 ME262. The one that is a "finished" model costs $116.90. So, if it were done in 1/35 scale, the cost would probably be through the roof. Anyway, it is an interesting model. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Acrylic Model "See through" tanks Those are kind of cool...Kind of reminds me of Monogram's old "Phantom Mustang" kit that I had back in the early '70s...I painted it though! | |||||||||||||
