Dragon Jagdpanthers 60037 & 60038

According to the Dragon website, The Dragon 1/72 Jagdpanthers, that have been coming forever, have now been moved to an April release. Hmm? These were pictured as pre-orders at least a year ago, then to a Jan. Feb. and now April release! Don't hold your breath. They will be in, when they are in. This is why I rarely "pre-order" Dragon 1/72 tanks.

This lesson I learned a long time ago. There's really no point in pre-ordering Dragon anymore since they produce so many copies of each model. You'll get your hands on one without worrying.

Too right. I started collecting Dragon tanks a short while back and can still find some early ones. I seem to prefer getting the early ones.

I fear these are currently being strafed by The Lord is my Shepherd in DML heaven, watched over by about 20 1/6th figures that died a silent death after being previewed. It's a shame too, I've really been wanting to pick up 60038 for some time now.

Re: Dragon Jagdpanthers 60037 & 60038

I've seen these on numerous websites recently. I'm hoping that they do come out. I'm not big on tank destroyers like the Jagtiger and Jagpanzer but the Jagpanther is somehow very appealing.

Re: Dragon Jagdpanthers 60037 & 60038

Well, the long awaited and long announced 1/72, Dragon Jagdpanthers - 60037 and 38, are no longer listed on Dragons website as "upcoming releases." They were previously listed as coming in April. Now, they aren't listed at all. O well. These have been listed as pre-orders at webstores for several years! I can't think of another piece of armor that Dragon has done this with. Interesting. Maybe they are trying to create a "buzz." To me, it is simply irritating!

Yes, I know. I ordered them back in December 2005 from the Mule. Great job Dragon. I say shave off a few extra days for the Chinese New Year and give us these much needed...opps WANTED, tanks. Thank you!

Re: Dragon Jagdpanthers 60037 & 60038

Has anyone actually tried contacting Dragon's customer service regarding these two tanks? Just curious.

Re: Dragon Jagdpanthers 60037 & 60038

I just checked another forum and a post there stated that Dragon had cancelled these two Jagdpanthers - Go figure. The person posting had received an e-mail from a vendor stating this. I have e-mailed Dragon (a few days ago), inquiring about these models. I'll let you know what they tell me, but it appears these two are not going to be produced. O well.

Thumbs down Re: Dragon Jagdpanthers 60037 & 60038

Would be a pity if they do us in now. I was really getting excited at the propect of getting these. I've tried after jagpanthers on the bay without success.
