Tulip Field and more

Dragon has announced a second "Tulip" Sherman, 60308, as companion for the 60307.

Quote: "The model, a Sherman M4A4, makes an ideal companion to Item No. 60307. In fact, this newest item also carries the unique rockets and launcher rails on the turret sides. Naturally, it bears different tactical markings to the other model, allowing modelers to create a diorama with a pair of these “rocket-launcher” tanks."

60307:

60308:

And there will also be another 1:35 Königstiger with Porsche Turret (61018), s.Pz.Abt.506, Arnhem September 1944:

Sorry if this was posted before. Pictures and quote as usual taken from the Dragon Models USA website.

Thumbs up Re: Tulip Field and more

Shermans with rocket launchers.

Can't wait to see what Dragon has in store around the corner with regard to Shermans.

Mine sweepers? Floating Shermans?

Or Shermans with "captured" GREEN TARPS......

Re: Tulip Field and more

Just purchased a Sherman M4A4 Mk.V "Tulip" (60307) last Saturday.

Very pleased with myself. I now have 14 Shermans.

If only I had a room big enough to store them in. You know... spare room, big table, covered in imitation grass, about 50 diecast vehicles with accompanying painted 1/72nd scale WWII soldiers.

Some day I'll get myself organized.

Re: Tulip Field and more

So what are the markings of the two tanks. As far as I know, only the Guards Armored played around with the 60lb rockets.

The rear of the turret on model 60307 has 9B written in large yellow lettering on it which obviously isn't visible in the above photographs.

Unsure what the other model has on the rear of it's turret as I don't own any as yet.

Re: Tulip Field and more

In the above picture of 60308 you can see a 2A on the turret bustle bin. (At least I think it's a "2A"...)
