Question about the 60002

I'm curious to find out if I may have bought a defective tank. Ok, I got a 60002 for a pretty good price. When it arrived it all seemed fine but then I examined it closely and noticed a visible screw on the front top side of the hull (right below the gun). Usually on other tigers this is covered by a piece of round plastic but this one didn't have it. Is this how all the 60002 came out or is it just mine?

I'll check mine when I get home.

Yes, it should be covered by a cap...

Re: Question about the 60002

I've checked both of my examples and they both have the same cap in place.

I suggest that you prise the cap off a more common Tiger and finish the old 60002 in its proper style. Fill in the common tiger with modelling putty and paint over it.

If you've never done any modelling, don't worry it's only a small repair and touch up job to fix it.

Re: Question about the 60002

You still got a 60002, which is a great piece. I would think the repair would be pretty simple. You would be surprised what you can find at a hobby store that might work perfectly.

Re: Question about the 60002

Guys, thank you for your replies and help, however, I contacted the person from whom I bought the model on ebay and he's going to exchange it for another 60002 without the defect. I do appreciate your tips though. Thanks!
