Re: Best Dragon Ever !

This is very difficult because Dragon does such a superb job with all their vehicles. I am particulary impressed with the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 and L/48, as well as the Nashorn/Hornisse/Hummel. Certainly the half-tracks are a work to behold. I better stop before I list all the Dragon armor!

C'mon, Copland, you've gotta pick just one : the very best that Dragon has produced as part of their Standard range.

If it's a Hummel, which one in particular?

cheers,

MoMo

Re: Best Dragon Ever !

Well, since I'm addicted to Dragon Armour this is a tall order to answer. But, I have to say its the Panther F for being unique, very accurate in detail and their last true Die Cast model

Yup, I could have had that...............

Challenger two, I have a book on both at home but I like the second one hands down.

Thanks Tank Nut,

I don't collect much modern armour. However, I like the looks of the Dragon version which I have illustrated at the start of the thread. Is this your particular favourite?

Re: Best Dragon Ever !

A difficult question to answer, MoMo. There's so many favourites in the range...

Well, my vote goes for their Leopard 2A4 in winter camo: it's accurate, looks great, and the paint scheme is awsome!

Re: Best Dragon Ever !

Ok. Here is how I decided. If I were to show someone only one of my Dragon tanks, which one would I show? The winner is the Hornisse, #60060. Of course, tomorrow, I would choose another one! By the way, the Hornisse is becoming somewhat scarce. I found it only at 2 sites. The Hummel and the Nashorn are still readily available. If you do not have a Hornisse, now might be the time to pick one up.

Re: Best Dragon Ever !

Sorry Momo, but I can't vote for just one because I don't own any Dragon Armor anymore.. I was just going off what I had seen in the past..

Red face Re: Best Dragon Ever !

I must confess an affinity to the German cats. WWII is a tough choice because I like both the Tiger Is and Panthers. I think my favourite has to be 60012. I'll have to check the number though. Modern, the Leopard 2s without a doubt my favs, I like the long barreled A6 (I hope it is). Gotta get some shuteye so I'll check on the morrow. Eerrr, it already is tomorrow! Oops!
