Link to Dragon Models Limited Hong Kong site. Their Dragon Armour seems not to have been updated since Nov. 2006. You can see the 1.35 Elephant on this site too!

This has been out for a while now... I think I saw one at Onmark about 3-4 months ago, but it may have been longer than that..

Cheers, Hworth18,

it passed me by. On this side of the pond things are erratic!

I have it. Paid $45 total. I like it fine. It seems so big to me next to the 1/72 tanks.

Not much metal to it is my 2nd impression. Hardly any metal really. Paint work is really nice and makes the model I think. Barrel recoil is neat as is the open hatches feature. Turret comes off, when you line it up just right, to reveal some inner workings of the 88 and seating for the crew. No detail at all w/in the tank body. It seems ok but not for $70 like they started out asking.

Leigh-Mallory and his big wings! Might as well stay on the ground for all the use they are!

I saw this snow-camo 1/35 Tiger I recently at a local hobby shop and it looks really good . In my opinion it looks a lot better than the first (Tunisia) release (which I have) but I also think that it is a tad overpriced .

Saw the snow-camo, rust affected, Tiger I again recently and am definitely planning to buy it as the detail is truly exceptional .

When compared side by side with the Minichamp's Tiger there is absolutely no comparison, when it comes to 'realism' and detail the Dragon wins hands down (Minichamps definitely the winner on metal content though).

(BTW I do like Minichamps a lot .)

I read this thread just this morning. Went to a mall downtown saw it being sold at a whopping US$78.00

At that price I want live ammunition for the 88mm gun and of course a working gun.

Re: Pz.Kpfw.V1Ausf.E,Sd.Kfz.181 1.35 Tiger!

Thanks Roh_Kudus,

$45 seems a good price to pay! I've got one now. It cost me £ 30 in a sale....that's about $60, so you got a bargain!

cheers,

MoMo
