Re: Shermans - Shermans - Shermans......

Yep, although it's with a MB tank, but that should be pretty close

here you go...from the new Military Diecast 1/72 site...

Although the dragon Sherman looks good; for some reasons, I like the Matchbox's scheme a little bit more. I guess it is a lot more heavier than the Dragon one, too.

I have an Eduard kit of a M4A3 76mm that I was in the middle of when these hit the dealer shelves. It comes with photo etched parts and has SEPERATE track links. It's a good kit. When I took a look at these Dragon Shermans I put the kit I was working aside. The Dragon Shermans are so much better it's not worth my time and trouble finishing it! The small parts are so fine and detailed they are better than the photoetched parts in the kit

I'm with you there PN! Not to mention what we paid for that Eduard kit, that little fella was @ least 30 bucks! Oh well, thanks to Dragon I can spend the build time on other stuff... A Soviet fuel truck for those Mig-21's due out, and my current project 144th scale B-36!!

Well I could only squeeze one Dragon Armor Sherman in the Dragon Armor landing craft, but below is how it looks...

To quote Roy Schider, Jaws 1977... "Were gonna need a bigger boat".

You know Legio you ought to be ashamed of yourself the way you stuck your arm through my monitor and twisted my arm to make me buy a Dragon LCM I now have one on the way

Airplanes, tanks, and now boats

Re: Shermans - Shermans - Shermans......

My first post

The dragon LCM is for some reason the most underrated of the armour line I love them and have 3.

The shermans dont seem to have hit the uk yet unless anybody can say differantly.

Re: Shermans - Shermans - Shermans......

Beware!! Remember the story of the soldier was so relieved that reinforcements arrived that he shouted out "Sherman tank"? The end of this is, the others understood "German tank" and blew it up with a bazooka

BTW, the LCM will be more accurate loaded with an A1 Sherman.
Evil Dragon! Forced me to buy the LCM as well...

Re: Shermans - Shermans - Shermans......

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I wonder if the LCM could really carry a Sherm. Since it's a Landing Craft Mechanised, and there are Landing Craft Tanks as well, wouldn't jeeps, trucks and artillery a more accurate load for the LCM?
