Re: New Exciting Diorarmor!!! [/sarcasm]

On the plus side, it's a really nice tank. One of Dragon's best.

Have to agree that their Challenger II range is excellent and have a lot of metal content to boot .

Call me stupid or call me drunk, but I don't see the slightest difference to the other one...
Maybe this release was intended for a parallel universe where there was no KFOR Challenger release yet?

I don’t care for or buy any of their products that include the round base.

Anyone else, dislike the round base - Think it is toy grade looking?

Re: New Exciting Diorarmor!!! [/sarcasm]

lenswerks,

You may not like the round bases, but you should at least consider the version that comes with the 8 German tank riders, if only for the figures themselves. I pitched the round base in the trash, but the figures add alot.

Re: New Exciting Diorarmor!!! [/sarcasm]

This release borders on insanity. I can picture a province in China where homes are built out of Dragon Challenger IIs.

Thanks LXXII. I had forgotten about that one – 60129 - it is on my list to get.

I have two Dragon Armor Challenger IIs. I love 'em. They sit on the same shelf as my Corgi OIF RAF Tornado.

Re: New Exciting Diorarmor!!! [/sarcasm]

Maybe the tank is the scenery and the tree is a special edition

Do I see a little tag hanging from a tree branch??? No, what! It's a limited edition of a Douglas Fir...#069 out of 1000! Christmas did come early!
Next will be a Sago Palm with St. Augustine grass...an exculsive from Dragon with a max. limit of only 250 produced! The Weeping Willow with Kentucky Blue grass will be released in April, 2007, production number will be kept secret. Pre-orders are now taken for $34.95! Oh, you want a tank too? How about a sand-colored Challenger with the Sago Palm version? That's a extra $25.00.

Re: New Exciting Diorarmor!!! [/sarcasm]

Nobody is knocking the actual Challenger II mold, the problem is it's a regular release of a cyber-hobby limited release of a regular release. Ouch..that makes my brain hurt.

Re: New Exciting Diorarmor!!! [/sarcasm]

These dioromas are a way for dragon to get rid of some overproduced/unsold models.
