Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

Relax Enigma, this is a hobby and should be fun. Just as you may not like reading between the lines, I and I'm sure many others don't like reading specific words or phrases CAPITALIZED just because YOU think they're important. You may have had a point to start with but lost all standing by making it in to such an ordeal, which really....seriously...is not. Great job as always MoMo!

Enough of this silliness, back to having fun with my hobby...

To lighten up the conversation, a picture of the FOV Dragon Wagon with a Dragon Armor Sherman on back.

Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

I have the exact same setup - except the M4A1 I've got is "Derby" and the Dragon Wagon is the enthusiast version (I couldn't stand the shiny black tires on the action release).

It's great how Dragon tanks fit on the Dragon Wagon perfectly.

Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

Is it just me, or did the Dragon Wagon look like it was two decades ahead of its time? I mean for a WWII vehicle, especially one so large, it definitely had a ‘60s lean, mean, angular look about it. Crazy, huh?

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

It reminds me of something like out of the movie Mad Max with the collapsible armor windows. The tires are shiny and I wish I had purchased the enthusiast version, but nothing a little custom weathering won't fix.

Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

to LEGIO ,IN CAPITALS,i contribute to this forum as an avid armour collector of many years,i was merely making a point of principle,if you dont agree thats fine, healthy debate is a good thing, this forum has many contributors from many countries, and ALL OUR VIEWS should be heard not just YOURS AND MOMO.i dont appreciate bring told how to phrase or type, capitalise is only to emphasize no more.so dont get personal,i EMPHASIZED that i was not attacking MOMO personally or did you miss that ? my time to my hobby is precious enough without wasting my time debating something that is ,FRANKLY TEDIOUS,if you remember this ,the section is titled ,todays dragons in the uk ,NOT HOBBY MASTER IN THE UK .

Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

That's the point Enigma, I don't like your capitals and you don't like MoMo saying things that make you read between the lines and posting other things in a topic that he started in the first place. Seriously.....big deal, just get over it and move on. Excellent job as always MoMo.

Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

Hey Momo, went to my local hobby shop and saw this from Easy Models...

Have these shown up over there yet? Pretty nice overall, but didn't need yet another captured tank in German service. Picked up another one of these from FOV at the local Target store for $7 even though I already have a couple...

Oh yea, the local hobby store had some Dragon but I wasn't looking for anything specific so didn't pay much attention. I talked to the manager and they might pick up Hobby Master since they sell quite a bit 1/72 diecast. I'm sure they'll do quite well as people look to other companies to make unique things rather than repaints over and over and over again.

Re: Today's Dragons in the U.K.

Momo placed his review, for whatever reason, in the wrong section. Enigma pointed this out. Legio and Momo, you guys may not like him for whatever reason, but he did nothing wrong. Those who need to "chill out" and "relax" are the ones who jumped on somebody merely for pointing out the rules and then chose to post poorly disguised efforts to aggravate and antagonize. And as long as this post will probably get me booted off the board anyway, here's one more thing. Legio, it takes a lot more than merely producing a lot of something to put a company on the map. You say HM is the only show in town because they keep cranking out "models" - but I'm sorry, Dragon is the only show in town in terms of build quality and sheer beauty. If steady production is all you are after might I suggest Matchbox or Hotwheels? It's quite a shame that a few bad apples have hijacked this board, irregardless of whether or not those apples were the ones that started it. I get enough juvenile drama at work, I don't need it in my hobby.
