Nashorn coming soon

Hobby Link Japan is showing this as in now:
http://www.hlj.com/product/DRA60061

My guess is that it will soon make an appearance here. Although, I have notice a trend of Dragon releasing a goup of armor at the same time here in the U.S.. So maybe this will arrive with some other peices like one of the Firefly Shermans.

Re: Nashorn coming soon

Is this the same piece, that was in Saving Private Ryan? There were two tigers and 3 of these I believe.

Those are Marder III anti-tank vehicles. Well actually the first one you see in the movie is a Marder III, the second one you see looks more like a Swedish Sav m/43 assault gun which the 2nd Panzer Division would never have been using. I think they used it in the movie because it looked so similar to a Marder III. The Marder III is smaller than the Nashorne.

Re: Nashorn coming soon

An easy way to tell the difference (besides the size difference between the two) is that the Marder has an open back where as the Nashorne does not.

Dear Sgtsaunders,

The 'Tigers' which you saw in 'Ryan' were T34/85s with new tops ( fibreglass and metal ). The giveaway is the road wheels. They did the same deal in ' Kelly's Heroes'.

Not to mention that they are two different chasis... As a matter of fact, the only thing the Nashorn and the Marder have in common is that they are "open"..
