Re: You guys seen this yet?

tank nut,
That has got to be the strangest thing I've seen yet. What is the history behind that tank? Thanks

Anything for a weird life.

Re: You guys seen this yet?

I've seen it before. I stand corrected , but believe that it was captured and that the tank tracks were added for additional protection.

Re: You guys seen this yet?

Including this, Dragon have issued 3 captured Fireflies and only ONE British firefly!

Did all the Fireflies end up captured by the Germans?!

Re: You guys seen this yet?

You've got to love that extra track armor. Sadly, I've got no interest in ANOTHER captured firefly. I'll buy that tank once they make an OD scheme... No Canadian Shermans yet...We'll see...

Re: You guys seen this yet?

Yes, Guys, it's another 'captured' Firefly which has had extra weighting and a ' Rommel-Kist ' ( metal storage box ) added, as well as all that extra protection from the tracks. It's an appealing model, and it should fly off the Brittish shelves when it lands here next month!
Why another 'captured' Sheman Firefly? Ask the dealers. German equipment outsells Allied equipment by 10 to 1, Worldwide. In this particular sense, the Germans won the war ( if you view it as a Beauty Parade! )

model no. : DR60321. This model is due in the U.K. in September.

Re: You guys seen this yet?

In all scales the German stuff does very well and has a fanatical fan base, but it’s not as if there’s no popular Allied releases, or as if there’s no German stinkers that sit on the shelves forever. The dealers also have more German stuff to sell as the companies produce much more of it, it’s no wonder they sell more of it. (How much German armor did DML release before making an Allied counterpart?) People tend to collect what's available to them. It’s just strange to me that the first vehicle of this mod would go to the Germans. Do they really think they can’t sell another Allied Firefly? That's a Firefly I would buy, this one I won't be picking up.
