Hi all, I just got my White 15 Corsair from the Mule, and there is a bad blue smudge on the right side national emblem, looks like someone at the factory touch the paint before it was dry, you can definately tell it's a finger print. Is this something that I could lagitimately return for an exchange. I don't want to bother the store if I'm just being too anal. Here's a picture.

Hey Chris,

In the end, if you are not happy with your purchase you should let the retailer know. I know from past experience that the Mule generally trips over itself to make sure you are a happy customer -- some of the best customer service I've ever seen, in fact. You don't want to take advantage of that of course, but if you think you got a model with a defect you should tell them and see what they'll do. It's hard to say without seeing it in person but I would probably send that one back myself

If you don't want to go that route, you can always ping Dragon and see what they'll do. I know another member got to exchange a bad model for any of like cost in Dragon's catalog... and I believe they paid for the shipping. Might take a bit to sort it out this way though.

Returns are subjective of course. Does it bother you? If it does, if it's the first thing that you see when you look at the model, if it stands out and distracts you from everything else, then arrange for a return. The mailer won't take it personally, they didn't make the model, they just sell them. I'm sure that any serious retailer will have a steady exchange arrnagement with their distributors.

Send it back, Chris, that's unacceptable. The manufacturers need to know we won't accept their shoddy QC.

Thanks Guys. I decided to call the Mule after I posted and like we all know they have the best customer service! Their sending me out a new one and a return shipping label!!
It's hard to tell in the picture, because I have a crappy digi camera but it is clearly a fingerprint, I just couldn't live with it. Someone at the factory just wasn't paying attention and then sent it out anyway, not the Mules fault. Anyway,thanks for the advice and I'm glad that we a have such a quality store like the mule to shop at!

I got my White 15 today and was pleased. I really like that there are no drop tanks nor mounts for them. Next to my Boyington Corsair, this gonna be a favorite.
