Re: Your #1 favorite Dragon

Well, Skunky . . . I broke down and ordered a "Big Beautiful Doll" .... We'll see how it stacks up against my Dragon P-47s when it shows up.

I think you'll be quite pleased, SB.......I wouldn't open it until you have the paramedics standing by with oxygen though...

Hey, Skunky! I got my "Big Beautiful Doll" this evening. I only passed out once. It is mighty purty. I don't know if it's better than my Dragon "Okie" P-47, but it's definitely on an even footing. "BBD" will go in my top five. Now where's that oxygen mask . . .

Apparently his key doesn't work in the door anymore.... ...but he is still alive and well. I run across him often in another neighborhood..

Re: Your #1 favorite Dragon

Oh, Skunky! It was meant to be! I knew there was a reason that the Dragon P-47 "Okie" and their P-51 "Big Beautiful Doll" are my favorite two Dragon Warbirds. Once I looked up info. on "BBD", I found the two planes are from the SAME SQUADRON, the 78th FG, 84th FS, the "Duxford Eagles"! Okie is from 1944 and Big Beautiful Doll is from 1945.

Isn't karma wonderful? Gasp . . . more oxy . . gen . . .
